The brass quintet Prima Vista Quintet is composed of the first players of the Karlovy Vary Symphony Orchestra, founded in 1835, and is one of the fundamental pillars of culture in Karlovy Vary. The members of the quintet perform not only in the Czech Republic but also abroad, including the famous Carnegie Hall in New York, where they performed earlier this year.
As this concert is the highlight of Advent, Prima Vista Quintet has prepared a uniquely conceived Christmas concert for you. Each member of the ensemble will select their favorite musical piece, which, as their metaphorical Christmas gift to the audience, will be incorporated into the concert program. With each composition, the audience will unwrap a package of melodies under the Christmas tree and listen to the tones of the flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, and French horn, creating a unique and highly personal festive atmosphere.
