The Christmas markets in Karlovy Vary will take place from November 28 to December 26, 2025, in the spa center of the city. They will offer Advent goods, such as Christmas decorations, handicrafts, and refreshments.

The festive atmosphere will permeate the entire spa route from the Thermal Hotel to Divadelní náměstí (Theater Square). The center of the action will be the Mill Colonnade, where the Christmas markets will be located. Visitors will find a Christmas tree and attractions for children at the Thermal Hotel. The entire area will be decorated and festively lit, and transportation will be provided by a Christmas train, among other things.

The area in front of the Mill Colonnade will be filled with stalls offering a wide range of Christmas gifts. You can enjoy mulled wine, punch, mead, hot chocolate, the popular trdelník pastry, lokše flatbread, pagáče scones, and langoše fried dough. Christmas gingerbread, grilled sausages, French and Slovak sausages and cheeses will also be on sale, as well as Christmas decorations, jewelry, mineral products, and wooden decorations. In the last week before Christmas, a weaver will also be selling his products at the markets.

This year, you will find a small Christmas market in Dvořákovy sady Park. There will be stalls with Christmas treats and cookies, Christmas bread, roasted chestnuts, mulled wine, and other hot drinks. A photo corner will be open in the park on weekends.

The Christmas tree lighting in Karlovy Vary is planned for the first Sunday of Advent.

In addition to stall sales, there will also be an accompanying program at the colonnade. As part of the accompanying program, stars of the Czech music scene will once again take turns performing on the large stage in front of the Mill Colonnade with local performers and children from Karlovy Vary's kindergartens and elementary schools.

This year, you can look forward to a Christmas creative workshop, which you will find in the Castle Tower above the Market Colonnade.
