The largest colonnade in Karlovy Vary, built of stone in the pseudo-Renaissance style, was opened in 1881 and covers a total of five mineral springs. The attic of the colonnade is complemented by allegorical statues representing the different months of the year. In the past, it was a laughing stock and earned various nicknames, such as the carrot bed.
MILL SPRING
It has been used for spa treatment since the 16th century. Previously, mainly for baths. Water from this popular spring was once available in almost all Czech pharmacies.
RUSALKA SPRING
The water springing from it was in its time more popular than that from the Mill Spring. The spring also had its own colonnade of the New Spring, later rebuilt and named Mlýnská.
SPRING OF DUKE VACLAV I
The water of this spring was used to produce Karlovy Vary medicinal salt. At the end of the 18th century, it could be compared to Vřídlo in terms of yield. Prince Wenceslas is brought out in two spring vases. Spring I flows directly in the colonnade, Spring II in front of the colonnade opposite the orchestra hall.

Originally called the spring of Elizabeth's roses. It was formed by joining four smaller springs.
ROCK SPRING
Until 1845, it originated in the Teplá River. After landscaping, its water was brought to the site of today's Mill Colonnade.
